We'll still meet, even though jordan can't make it until 10:00. everyone be there at 9:00, we'll get stuff done.

thanks for posting that karen... its great to reference so we don't have to start from scratch next meeting (i have a very short term memory).

Here are some notes from our meeting:

Ending 1: Family reconciled/relieved/orderly revelation....closure, viewers see family and are relieved of the arguments

ACTIONS: Offer ride (no argument, line of dialogue "at least it's over", fold sheets/clean up mozzelle's room, hug and forgive each other, group discussion with orderly


GOAL: Importance of family and how the relationship of the brothers/family is strengthened through mozzelle's death


TIME LINE (Changed a lot during meeting)


Thursday:

Basketball game...build up competitiveness of Jeremy and Bo

Thanksgiving Preparation anticipating mozzelle

Brothers get Mozzelle (it's the first time mozzelle couldn't make it to a family function due to her declining health) home suggests that she stays, Bo "won argument" for the first time because Jeremy wanted Mozzelle to come home so he wouldn't have to visit her the next day.

Argument during dinner (one family leaves...tension)


>>played with the idea of maybe having Bo visiting Mozzelle after they leave the dinner...just to emphasize that he is emotionally involved with her.




FRIDAY

Thanksgiving with Mozzelle. She talks about Michael...there is a slight argument between the brothers, but is supressed because of the family setting. Orderlyu is introduced.


SATURDAY

Jeremy feels bad about starting an argument from the day before so he goes to Mozzelle to appologize (show redemptive qualities of Jeremy)....When he gets there Bo is there...Big argument...maybe in the parking lot...play more on the idea of Michael while with Mozzelle...develop that backstory.

SUNDAY

Mozzelle dies.



BACKSTORY

Mozzelle is in the home since last holiday, whenever...maybe 4 months

Michael used to take care of Mozzelle he was the eldest, but he died.

Jeremy feels that it is his obligation to make sure that he is in charge of things.




CHARACTERS:

Jeremy is seen as the more successful brother, he is the middle son. He helps Mozzelle financially also he is seen as more responsible (i.e. pray for meal, cut turkey, etc)

Bo is the youngest brother and is less successful than Jeremy, however he is closer to Mozzelle emotionally.
